God desires for us to love Himself with out partiality, meaning...with our whole heart. Not only does He desire that we love Him that way, but he also longs for us to love eachother with that same kind of love. We are not to pick and choose who we should love, but rather put on the eyes of Christ to see others as He sees them.
This week, we have begun a new teaching series from the book of James entitled "Real Faith". Pastor calvin kicks the series off with the first teaching "Real Faith In Trials". It can be hard for us to see that God wants us to count every trial that we go through as joy, but in His word we see that it produces patience, and if we let patience have it's perfect work in us, we would be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
As we near the finish of our teaching series "Joseph - An Overcomer", we see that things begin to go well for Joseph's entire family. He has been reunited with his brothers and now...he is about to be reunited with his father.
Genesis 45:16-28; 46:1-7, 28-34; 47:1-6
Joseph now tests his brothers to see if true repentance is going to take place within their hearts. God will absolutely pour His grace over your life and redeem you from anything that your past holds, but without true, whole hearted repentance, is there real forgiveness?
Genesis 44:1-34; 45:1-11
